Our panettone selection comes from the all the famous bakers; Valentina, Lazzaroni, Loison and Tre Rossi. The famous oversized brightly-coloured boxes and beautiful wrappings of ‘big bread’ are guaranteed to bring a smile to anyone’s face.
Panettone is not too sweet, so lovely long slivers are the perfect finishing touch to any meal and toasted, they are a delightful addition to your morning coffee.
There are some wonderful additions that will make your panettone experience even more lovely. Added mixed fruits, apricots, pears, figs, hazelnuts, and chocolate or delicious ‘marron glace’ all bring new dimensions. For an alcoholic twist, there’s also panettone with infusions of strega or limoncello liqueurs or even sambuca.
As a real indulgence treat yourself to panettone amaretto, filled with cream and the famous flavour of amaretto macaroons. The ultimate luxury or truly special gift must be our Hamper Panettone and with a bottle of the finest quality prosecco from Valdobbiadene.
As an alternative to panettone, you might prefer the elegant simplicity of golden bread or ‘pan d’oro’ in the traditional eight-pointed shape. Enriched with a generous number of eggs to create its enticing yellow colour and dusted with sugar, it’s delicious.
You can slice it in long wedges in just the same way as panettone or, for a really decorative presentation, cut it horizontally into star-shaped slices. Serve your pandoro with creams or sauces or spoil yourself with melted chocolate or scoop out the middle and fill it with ice cream or custard.
Our pandoro from Alberti, Bauli, Melegatti and Valentina also come with chocolate or infused with strega. The tiramisu version with marscarpone, coffee and a dusting of cocoa powder really shouldn’t be missed.
